DNV GL type approved UHPC product for structural high strength and dynamically

exposed grouted connections for offshore wind turbine foundations.

NaX™ Q140-E

NaX™ Q140-E was developed and has been used in many grouted structural connections for offshore structures including wind turbine foundations situated in cold and hot tropical climates.

As part of the DNV GL type approval, the mechanical and operational parameters of the UHPC product has been tested and verified thorugh an exhaustive test program with Materialprüfanstalt (MPA) Hannover.

Early strength development of NaX™ Q140-E is superior with 1-day strength 10 times higher than the market average for cold temperatures.

The fatigue performance of NaX™ Q140-E has been verified through a thorough test campaign with Leibnizt Universität, Hannover confirming the that DNV -OS-C502 can be used conservatively for the fatigue life prediction of grouted connections using NaX™ Q140-E.

NaX™ products have been used in more than 60 offshore projects primarily in South East Asia, Indian and Middle East where the operational  temperature often exceeds 35 °C. Yet, the unique composition of our products allow us to pump the materials through several hundreds of meter of 2″ and 3″ hoses. This was verified in the DNV type approval for NaX™ Q140-E where the hose temperature exceeds 35 °C.

Flowability Test in Extreme Weather Conditions
