On February 21st to 24th 2016, Mr. Andrew Fooks – Executive Director and General Manager, South East Asia (SSW) represented Nautec at the SPE Workshop ‘Operating Mature and Very Mature Fields – Operating, Upgrading and Extending the Production Life of Offshore Assets’ in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
Mr. Fooks was chairperson for session 9: Case Study, Simulation Modelling, Best Practice for Development Project in Mature Field.
With 45 attendees from 16 organisations and 5 countries the well-attended workshop provided excellent opportunities for discussion and debate and insightful presentations on current challenges, cost-effective maintenance strategies and development in life extension and integrity management of mature assets.
