UHPC based Repair and Strengthening Solutions
In-place, pushover and fatigue analysis of ageing structures using SACS and USFOS followed by design, often through the use of FEM (ABAQUS) and execution of UHPC strengthening solutions, requalifies and extends the service life of ageing structures in a cost efficient manner.
Increasing the structural capacity of braces and joints by injecting UHPC grouts or deploying UHPC grouted clamps are arguably the most cost effective and technically efficient options available.
The injection of UHPC grouts, is a swift operation with comparatively little offshore work involved. The application of UHPC grouts significantly increases the structural capacity of both tubular braces and fatigue exposed joints. NaX® Q140 and NaX® B210 UHPC grouts are designed and manufactured by Nautec and marketed under the NaX® Premix System series.
