Nautec has completed the MHSRD-III skirt pile sleeve grouting project it was contracted by Sapura Kencana TL Offshore Sdn Bhd to carry out during the installation phase of three platforms RS18, RS20 and RS21 all located in the Mumbai High South field.

Nautec’s small footprint grouting spread was set up on the Main Work Barge LTS3000. The team grouted four skirt piles on each of the three jackets using its proprietary NaX Q80 high strength grouting material.

The team used its first generation ROV connector to connect the grout inlet ports to the jacket at water depths of approximately -80 meters. This eliminated the need for divers to carry out the grouting work and in effect reduced the jacket installation time.

The contract is part of the Mumbai High South Redevelopment Phase-III (MHSRD-III) project by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, India.
