Nautec have been contracted to provide engineering and project management consultation services in respect of the topside production test system to Japan Methane Hydrate Operating Co., Ltd. (JMH) for the 2nd offshore methane hydrate production test.
Nautec previously provided production testing design, planning and execution services for the 1st offshore methane hydrate production test, which culminated in the first ever flow of gas from a deep water hydrate accumulation in March 2013.
Nautec will be directly applying its Well Test Engineering expertise to this project but our team’s extensive technical experience and capability within Geoscience & Subsurface Engineering, Drilling & Completions, Integrated Project Solutions and Well Testing, Well Services & Interventions Solutions will allow us to interface effectively with various other parties within the JMH project.
