Nautec have been contracted by Australian oil and gas company Woodside Energy Ltd. to carry out Goodwyn-A Flare Tower Leg Grouting services. It is intended to grout the flare tower legs up to 86m above the base.
The scope of work will comprise the supply of Ultra High Performance Cementitious (UHPC) grout and grouting services i.e. NaX™ Q140 and lubricant; provision of offshore grouting equipment and necessary consumables; provision of grouting crew, as well as Project Management including Reporting and QA / QC & HSE.
The grouting work will be carried out using the conventional “bottom to top” methodology and will be executed from the platform deck space.
The contract for grouting works follows analysis, testing and trials, which Nautec have carried out previously in collaboration with Woodside Energy Ltd.
