Nautec and its long established local partners Murjan Al-Sharq for Marine Services (MSMS) have recently penned a contract with a major operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Structural Integrity Assessment of a number of shallow water marine structures near Qatif. The primary objective of the engineering study is to model the physical condition of the structures with a view to making specialist repairs to ultimately extend the life of the aged structures.
This is follow on work from a highly successful campaign completed in 2014 in the same area involving engineering design and offshore execution of a number of highly technical repairs using Nautec’s high strength grout range NaX™. Nautec worked closely with the clients consulting services division to approve the repair designs and the repairs were completed using MSMS’s shallow water Meercat vessel, which is specially designed for shallow marine works.
