Project Highlight

A subsea grouting project utilizing a remarkably large clamp, designed in three sections.

Project Performance

All deliverables were achieved with excellence and received positive feedback from Client.

Client Benefit

The strengthening job was done using grouted clamp methodology, which allowed the team to carry out the work without any operational downtime at the well head platform.

Added Value

The fatigue performance of NaX® Q140-E has been verified through a thorough test campaign with Leibnizt Universität, Hannover confirming that DNV-OS-C502 can be used conservatively for the fatigue life prediction of grouted connections using NaX® Q140-E.

Nautec’s proprietary NaX® products have been used in more than 60 offshore projects primarily in Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East where the operational temperature often exceeds 35° C. Yet, the unique composition of the products makes it possible to pump the materials through several hundred meter 2″ and 3″ hoses.
