H5 Project is a strategic development scheme of Hoang Long JOC in block 16-1 offshore Vietnam.
The Client
The client was Hoang Long Joint Operation Company (HLJOC) and PetroVietnam Engineering (PVE).
The Scope
Nautec performed the Deep FEED with an integrated execution framework with local contractor PVE with Nautec taking the technical leadership. The design was carried out over a 4 month period whereby all the primary design drawings were advanced to AFC and procurement for long lead items was commenced.
The Challenges
The work was performed in dual locations as an integrated team with PVE. However Nautec managed the interfaces between the 2 work centres well and produced a design package on schedule meeting all project objectives enabling HLJOC to issue the EPCI contract early, which eventually also resulted in early production of first oil.
